April 10, 2012 - Four pro-animal welfare City Council Members are elected: Andrew Weissman, Mehaul O'Leary, Meghan Sahli-Wells and Jim Clarke. Each supports the Culver City Animal Services Program.
June 5, 2012 - City Council votes unanimously to make the Animal Services Program a permanent Culver City program.
