Activities and Accomplishments - 2009

  • July 1, 2009 - Culver City's first Animal Services Officer began to handle all local animal-related problems and investigations.
  • January 5, 2009 - spcaLA began to shelter all Culver City pets and wildlife at their South Bay Shelter in Hawthorne. They handle all Culver City animal sheltering services including adoptions, contacting owners of lost pets, wildlife rehabilitation, careful treatment of dead animals, disaster education, humane education, and more.
