We are an association of individuals who have come together as volunteers to promote the interests and well-being of pets and other animals in Culver City. FCCA is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are volunteers who try to assist animals in need. We function as a liaison between distressed animals, rescue groups and individuals seeking to adopt or foster these animals.

Friends of Culver City Animals was formed in May 2005. Thanks to our members, volunteers, steering committee and supporters, we have reached our goal of having our own Culver City Animal Services Program. Our work now is to ensure the continued success of this program.

Mission Statement:

• Support the Culver City Animal Services Program and the local Animal Services Officer (ASO) to ensure the safety and health of all Culver City residents and animals.

• Maintain the association between the spcaLA shelter (Hawthorne) and Culver City.

• Guide owners towards responsible pet care.

• Provide educational materials and guest speakers for organizations and civic groups.

• Distribute a free email newsletter.
