Oct. 16, 2008 by Gary Walker Animal Officer OK'd By a 3-2 vote Monday night, the City Council moved ahead with plans for a 24 month pilot program establishing an animal control officer to supplement the city's deal wiyth L.A. County for animal contyrol services. The non-sworn officer will work under the direction of a CCPD sergeant in the Operations Bureau with a salary range of $42,000-$51,000. Councilmen Gary Silbiger, Chnristopher Armenta and Mehaul O'Leary voted in favor. |
