May 19-25, 2011 Letters to the Editor Dear Editor: I recently passed a dead bird in the street here in Culver City. It was a sickening sight, and my children were really upset. I called Animal Services Officer Corolla Fleeger to remove the poor creature. An hour later I drove past the same spot and Officer Fleeger had already picked up the bird.
