Dear Editor:

Recently I had a situation where I needed to work with the new Culver City Animal Services officer. I was pleased to find that she was extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly experienced in many facets of animal services, including wild animal work, which is a rarity and absolutely necessary in this neck of the woods where we get so many wild shore birds cruising through, as well as opossums, skunks and foxes. I can only say that we are extremely lucky to have such a well rounded officer on duty!

She was very friendly and answered my questions, and clearly knew what she was doing. Her hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. I wish she was on duty on weekends!
